The overall expectation in developing the “Raven Goes Fishing” game is to introduce First Nation’s traditional perspectives through gameplay and procedural story telling. The core aspect of the game is to navigate Raven through various terrains and barriers, and catch the fish that are
jumping out of the water. Initial format is designed for mobile delivery, but can be adapted for desktop computers.

Our intent is to make a connection between the content and the experience, and expand the interactive journey so it will lead to understanding and realization. We expanded the objectives
so that concepts gain through gameplay can be applied to real-life success. Both the visuals and narratives are developed to lead to a ideas rooted in First Nation’s worldview of human’s place the natural world.
The project is currently in the Prototype phase and will be released in 2027.
